Painting Standard

At Red Eagle Studio I offer 2 levels of painting, Silver and Gold.  Please remember that even though my examples and prices are based on GW Warhammer 40,000 models, I will happily paint models of different scales and from different model companies, simply email me with your questions/requirements.

1- Silver Standard (High Quality)

Well painted and detailed using many techniques, including highlighting, blending and shading.  Ideal if you want a bold and impressive army that looks great on the battlefield.  My most popular standard of painting, emphasising my high contrast painting style.

2- Gold Standard (Display Quality)

Very well painted, using many advanced techniques to create a stunning model.  Every detail on the model is painted to a high standard with extra care and attention.  Ideal for centre pieces in your army and really showcases highly sculpted models.  Due to the complexity and variations clients request for Gold level painting, prices are determined on a 1 on 1 basis and are not displayed on the price guide.

Price Guide

I try to be transparent with my pricing, providing a basic pricing guide you help determine if a Red Eagle Studio commission is within your budget.  Prices are per single model and may well increase depending on factors like complexity of the colour scheme, colours used, freehand work, basing and other variables.

Resin

Working with resin models requires more preparation time and sometimes involves the heating and shaping of parts during assembly.  This may incur extra cost depending on how much extra work is needed.

Time Frame of Commissions

I will calculate how long it will take me to complete your commission during our initial emails.  Commission dates are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances and all commissions are treated on a First Come First Serve basis. If any issues arise causing delay they will be discussed with you and a new arrangement will be made that we both agree upon.  I highly value direct communication with my clients whilst the commission is underway, this is to ensure total client satisfaction and helps to create a trusting bond.  Progress photos are sent via Whats app, Messenger and/or emails.

Payment of Commissions

Clients are required to pay 25% of the total commission cost in advance, this is a non refundable deposit.  This covers the costs of paints, sprays and supplies I use for your models and also secures yourself a commission slot on my schedule.  Once your commission is completed and you are happy with the results, I will require the remaining 75% of the total cost to be paid plus any postage fees.  Once the final payment is received, I shall post your models.  All payments are be made either via Paypal or by a Direct bank transfer. If you wish to cancel a project, all models will be returned unless work has already begun on the project.  The client will pay the postage costs.  If your commission is not paid for within 14 days of completion, the models will become the property of Red Eagle Studio and I will find another buyer for them to offset costs.

Postage of Your Models, Import Duties

All of my completed commissions will be posted back to you with tracking and insurance cover, the client will pay the postage costs.  I also recommmend the same method when you send models to me here at Red Eagle Studio.  Please remember that I am based in the UK, so for orders going abroad there will be an increased cost in postage and possible import duties.  The costs incurred from postage and import duties will be paid by the client, please check your countries Boarder Agency/Customs and Excise website for information.  I take great care in packing your models in bubble wrap and sturdy compact boxes so they arrive safely.  Red Eagle Studio cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred during shipping.
